Shipping Industry of Jamaica/Under 15 Competitions

Committee’s Report 2007/08

 

The following report was delivered by KSAFA Administrative Officer Bianche Marks at the Presentation of Awards Ceremony on Friday, August 15,2008 at the offices of Shipping Association of Jamaica:

  • The Competition commenced Saturday, 3rd May, 2008

  • With the defending champions Harbour View FC playing at home and defeated Central Kingston FC 8-0

    • 24 teams participated.

    • 46 games were scheduled to play including the semi-final and final

    • 29 games were played

    • 17 games were not played due to teams failing to show and unprepared field. Pembroke Hall withdrew and Liguanea was expelled from the competition

    • 127 yellow cards were issued

    • 16 red cards were issued

    • 258 goals were scored overall

    • Fair play team – Real Mona FC

    • Leading Goal scorer - Nikoli Bryan - Cooreville Gardens FC (scored 10 goals)

      • Javoni Simms - Arnett Gardens FC (scored 9 goals)

      • Damion Lowe - Harbour View FC (scored 9 goals)

       

    • 1st Place Team - Cavalier SC

    • 2nd Place Team - Boy’s Town FC

    • 3rd Place Team-Barbican FC

    • 4th Place Team- Santos FC

    • 5th place Team- Waterhouse FC

    • 6th Place Team- Meadhaven United FC

    • MVP - Conroy Johnson – Cavalier SC

    • In the Finals Cavalier SC defeated Boy’s Town FC 4-2 on penalties 0-0 in regulations time

    Runner up coach- Leon Hardware

    Runner Up manager- Steve Bull

    Winning Coach- Mark Scotland
