Airport (NMIA) won their first Kingston & St. Andrew Business
House one day five-a-side Football rally and took home the
Pronto-Porridge Mix trophy, when they defeated National Water
Commission (NWC) 2-1 in the finals yesterday at the NWC
Playfield. Eighteen (18) teams, participated in this year
renewal. NMIA and NWC clip J Wray & Nephew and Gleaner Company
2-1 in the semi finals. In the final, NWC took the lead in the
29th minute with Kirk Edwards scoring. Garfield Sutherland got
the equaliser in the 22nd minute. The game went into extra time
and with a minute remaining in the match NWC goal keeper Patrick
Williams, blundered by rolling the ball straight to Khari Caine
who fire pass him for the winning goal.

Business House Football League competition will kick off on
Sunday May 23, 2010 with the dress parade and a double header at
the NWC Playfield, Mona, starting at 1 pm. |
