Arnett Gardens U-20 vs Olympic Gardens U-20

Harbour view and Arnett scored impressive victories as action got underway in the quarter finals of the Claro KSAFA Under 20 League on Sunday June12.

Over at the Anthony Spaulding complex, in the opening match of the double header, four goals from Jermie Lynch and a 20 yd cracker from Atiba Morgan, led the unbeaten Harbour view to a clinical 5-0 victory over Santos whose coach Spanner Dennis was red carded.

In the second match, the overconfident Arnett Gardens aggregation created a domino 6-0 drubbing of Olympic Gardens. The ‘Junglist’ lived up to their billing, as one of two teams to beat the national under 17 , when they stormed into an early 2-0 lead as Juliani Reid took the initiative with his contemptuously easy brace . Not to be out done, leading goal scorer Jovani Simms rifled in a hat-trick. Devoran Dixon lone goal finally crowned Arnett’s comprehensive 6-0 victory over the astounded Olympics.

Unbeaten Rae Town registered the shock of the round with a 2-1 victory over Tivoli Gardens at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex. The Itesman Legacy will meet Arnett Gardens in the semifinals at Anthony Spaulding Sports complex on Thursday.

At Collie Smith Drive, Boys town scored an emphatic 3-1 victory over Duhaney Park. The Red Brigade will meet Harbour View at their home ground in the other semi finals on Thursday.
